First Tee – Virginia Blue Ridge is seeking a mission-driven PGA Associate or Professional to lead youth golf instruction and create meaningful player development pathways at the First Tee Clubhouse at Ix Park and partner locations. This role focuses on delivering exceptional First Tee programming, strengthening coach and volunteer development, and expanding player development opportunities through lessons, leagues, tournaments, and innovative indoor golf experiences.

It offers the opportunity to shape the future of junior golf and positively impact young people through the values of First Tee across the region.

“I grew up in Alexandria, VA, participating in competitive dance and swim through high school. I then continued my dance career at Syracuse University, where I was a 4-year member and 2-year captain of the Syracuse University Dance Team, and earned my Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast & Digital Journalism. I remained at Syracuse to complete my Master’s in Higher Education, while serving as Dance Team Head Coach and working in the Office of Student-Athlete Engagement. My higher education experience has taken me to several other colleges and universities, including UVA’s McIntire School of Commerce and Virginia Tech Athletics. I come from a family of college athletes, including my brother (Baseball/Lafayette College) and dad (Basketball/UVA) and enjoy getting out on the course for some healthy competition with my family. With a passion for sports, leadership, and education, I’m excited to serve First Tee Families through building unique and engaging experiences for the next generation of golfers and leaders!”

“I’m from Louisa County and started playing golf at age 8 at Lake Monticello. I got into the sport to try something new with my best friend and quickly fell in love with the fun atmosphere. I now play Division II collegiate golf at UVA Wise. I joined First Tee as a coach because I grew up with great coaches and want to help other kids have the same positive experience.”

“I graduated from James Madison University with a degree in Marketing and a double minor in Spanish and Honors Interdisciplinary Studies. Growing up I had a passion for adventure, beginning Girl Scouts in kindergarten, earning my Gold Award, and continuing to serve on our regional board of directors. I was also involved in Western Albemarle high school’s cheerleading team, newspaper, and served as editor for our yearly creative writing magazine. I’ve worked in marketing for over 5 years now and discovered First Tee when I moved back to the Charlottesville area, excited to make an impact in our local community!”
